Looking to learn more about herbal medicine, sustainable nutrition practices, healthy recipes, and more? Ellwood Thompson’s Health Coach has you covered.

As Ellwood’s Health Coach, Jordan Douglas provides free (seriously!), personalized 30-minute nutrition counseling sessions every Friday from 1-3pm.* (Please note that Jordan's in-peron nutrition counseling sessions are temporarily suspended. She offers free virtual health coach sessions at this time.)

She’ll even walk you around the market and show you the supplements, brands, and products she recommends for you - making restocking your pantry and fridge with the right stuff a little less daunting. She also runs our Health Coach blog and keeps it full of the latest health and nutrition news.

To sign up for a session, email Jordan at healthcoach@ellwoodthompsons.com and mention the time and date of the Friday you’d like to meet. She’ll email you back to confirm your appointment, or she’ll work with you to find another opening. If you need to cancel your appointment, make sure to give Jordan at least 24-hours’ notice.

*Ellwood Thompson’s supports Jordan Douglas’ integrative approach to health and healing but is not liable for any treatment plans recommended during her free consultations.

More About Jordan

Jordan is a holistic health coach, plant-based chef and budding herbalist who holds a Master’s in Nutrition and Integrative Health. She deeply believes in the power of plants to nourish, transform and revitalize every aspect of our being. Jordan works as a nutrition strategist, meeting you where you are on your wellness journey and helping you to cultivate your ideal relationship with food to support your optimal health.

While studying at the University of Virginia, Jordan found a creative outlet in the kitchen and cultivated a passion for nutrition, diving deep into clean, whole food practices, especially plant-based diet, the raw food movement and macrobiotics. In 2016, Jordan honed her knowledge of dietary theories and completed a holistic health coaching certification program through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In 2020, Jordan graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health, Herbal Medicine Concentration from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH).

Through plant-based nutrition, herbal medicine and the healing power of nature, Jordan connects people and plants to ground in their relationship to self and elevate their health, well-being and consciousness. She teaches classes and sees clients privately through her practice root + center.
